Our winemaking philosophy is simple. We believe in small batch fermentation with as limited intervention as possible, allowing our high-quality fruit to fully express its environment.  At the source, this means outstanding vineyard management, and meticulous sorting of the fruit before it enters the winery. Our passion for looking after the land extends to the grapes and this careful, time-honoured and respected winemaking process.

Our limited production of wine is crafted by award-winning viticulturist and winemakers, Mike Wood and Heinrich Storm. Mike and Heinrich's backgrounds, working with Waiheke’s unique grape growing environment, combined with their passion for Syrah and boutique hand crafted wine, makes them the ideal craftsman for Māwhitipana Ridge Estate vintages.
