The Māwhitipana Marsanne had a run as dreamy as its origins. This vintage was long, calm and dry. A long hot season with little rain produced small berries and low yields with lots of concentration. A settled harvest produced ideal picking conditions.
The Māwhitipana Marsanne is a seamless, medium bodied wine that flows beautifully into a smooth finish, with notes of burnt orange rind. An inviting nose of oriental spice, including cloves and dried citrus peel with notes of honeysuckle. A wine as dreamy as its sustainable origins. Grapes handpicked by owners. A limited vintage with only 48 cases produced. 94 points, Outstanding - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit 93 points - Bob Campbell MW, The Real Review 93 points, Excellent - Cameron DouglasMS 5 Stars, Michael Cooper
